I love to show my friends how this App will show me the weather and the landscape all over the World. Use it to show what the Mosque in Mecca looks like or the Sydney Opera House. It’s never raining in Mecca and usually raining in Sydney when I look. I also use it when I travel to see if it will rain where I want to go. Wonderful App!
Accurate, reliable, trustworthy.
Simply The Best of the Best in storm tracking
I don’t remember when or why I downloaded Max Tracker, but as a Floridian, it is the app I go back to again and again for quick, preside information and tracking. It gives me what I want to know, and I recommend it to all of my friends and family. I have family as far north as NYC using Max Tracker. Highly recommend!
This is the most accurate application to trace hurricanes, and tropical storms. I say this because it is named after Max mayfield formally up from the NHC.
Wake up!
I travel and Max Tracker is Essential!!! Thank You Max Mayfield... 💚 Love the New Updates💚👌 🐚 You Just keep getting better Every Year! Many Thanks to the Max Tracker Team to Max Mayfield and Don Noe🐚 5✨👌a daily necessity!! I’ve recommended Max Tracker to so many people and they now use it everyday. Many Blessings to all of the Max Tracker Team…..The Glitch Girl More and more important!! I use it everyday.. wishing you All a Safe and successful New Year.. Thanks for Saving So Many Lives!!!
I love max tracker app.
I enjoyed the old version prior to your so called new and improved version for tacking storms. As I have spoken to numerous individuals that have your app, as they liked your old version as well. I am not sure if the feedback is even viewed by anyone. However thank you for asking for my feedback.
Excellent accurate information. Very useful to stay informed
This app is the best easiest to get the information you need for your safety, it’s always been updated regularly!
It is the easiest and fastest way to find out trajectory of any storm! I have shared with all my friends and family here in South Florida
Love the features of the app, generally very timely. Only complaint is that the “models” tab doesn’t update once the storm forms. Milton is still showing Saturday’s models, and it’s Monday night.
Great to have. Easy access and accurate
So I don’t know what happened. I don’t know if it’s the lack of updates but the “tracker” tab isn’t working for me. It used to give me useful info like wind speed, expected dates, etc and now it’s just like code and coordinates. It’s not helpful. The only thing I use it for now is the radar.
I trust Max Mayfield’s expertise and love this app!
This app has changed drastically over the past year. For the worst. It used to be my go to app for hurricane coverage and was so informative and the maps were easy to see. I would tell everyone how great it was. Now it’s like looking at a zoomed out imagine of a very basic map. Hard to get the right info from it as far as area for potential threat. Thank you for the past amazing years with it, but really wish it could go back to the way it was.
Please change it back to a flat map. It is too difficult to tell how the storms are exactly located. Now it’s a guessing game because the ocean takes up most of the page.
I found this app when I was looking for something all together I wanted to track hurricanes as well and didn’t want 2 apps that had weather and hurricanes and found this app that does both I was hooked thanks a lot 🙂
Always on point and up to date very helpful on Hurricanes Love the App And Miss MAX😍
My favorite weather app during hurricane season! Easy and concise!
I would have given this app 5 ⭐️s rating, I’ve used it for the last 8 years and it’s helped so much. BUT the new updated map is so awful. It’s really bad and I can’t see the storms well. It’s like a 3d round globe that’s so off center and mostly the middle of the ocean. It’s really hard to track hurricanes/storms this way. It just doesn’t make any sense and just makes it difficult to see and follow along. I had to download 2-3 other hurricane apps to help me see better. I still use this one a lot. Why not just make the map like it was before but only with the new colors in 3d but with a flat map like before? All in all, I’m still thankful for this app and use it everyday during hurricane season.
Info is not kept current!!!
I have used Max Tracker for years. Living in Miami, hurricanes are a constant annual fear cycle. What will this year bring? When it comes right down to it, a patch in the Atlantic potentially spelling disaster or skittering off to annoy someone else, I go to Max Tracker the bromide of the heart and mind to quell my fears and provide an intelligent basis for planning and actions. Go (evacuate) or stay? Usually stay. Are the hurricane shutters in good working order? When to pull them closed? A hurricane window company approached me to buy hurricane windows. They said they would remove my hurricane shutters. I thanked them and said, “Even if I buy hurricane windows, I will keep the shutters and use them. I don’t want to see what is happening out there with all the wind and rain. The freight train sound of the storm is about as much as I can bear.” So, back to Max Tracker. Armed with Max’s knowledge, I know that I will survive another hurricane. I keep track of the news on the TV following the trail of destruction and noting the path of its presumed advance, I try to estimate what that will mean to me. What will I have to clean up? What help will I need? Surely the screen man for the patio’s two story outdoor living area, possibly a carpenter/handyman, a landscaper? I sleep when the storm actually blows at my house and when it leaves, I start checking. What does Max Tracker have to say? The local TV station? The national weather network? I open the shutters and peek out. Not too bad. The storm has passed and I can open the shutters. The neighbors all come out. Do we have TV? Cell phone service? Electricity? Are stores, ATMs and gas stations open? Are traffic lights working. Is Krispy Kreme open? I’ll get some big boxes of donuts and coffee for the neighborhood so we can commiserate our damages in comfort. In a few days the hurricane has exhausted itself out and I too am exhausted. Things are clean and orderly.. All the plants have been trimmed up and the trash removed. I congratulate myself that I have survived another hurricane and life goes on. Thank you Max Tracker for guiding me through another storm.
The last update for this app now has a globe view instead of the flat map. This is extremely difficult to see correctly. Please go back to the old view. I have emailed the developer twice and never got a reply. I see from other reviews that there are others who find this difficult to see also.
Best app for hurricanes! Thank you
Very informative at my fingertips. It’s very convenient to have
Really love this app, but it seems the update has changed the Tropics watch part to round globe. I just feel like it was easier on the eyes when it was a regular map.
This has been my go to hurricane tracker for a long time and always been good. Unfortunately, the new curved globe view doesn’t work. Makes it difficult to see exact location of potential storms. Please go back to old flat view, much better.
That is all.
This has been my go-to app for hurricane info for years but something changed in the past weeks. All of the maps are centered on the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. That is interesting but no one lives in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean. Two potential systems are displayed now and it’s hard to tell but I think one is near the bay of Campeche/yucatan. And the other off the coast of Florida/georgia/south Carolina/North Carolina. And what’s interesting about that is that millions of people live near the Caribbean/gulf of Mexico/u.s Atlantic Coast and all of that is crunched over to the left of the map so details are difficult to see. Not that the middle of the Atlantic isn’t important especially mid to late season but to me the focus should mostly be where most people live with a side perspective of what is happening off the coast of Africa and mid Atlantic Ocean. And I think those perspectives are why I have used this app for years. But it was so natural I didn’t even notice until it changed in the past few weeks.
Max Tracker is my go to app in hurricane season in south Florida. I’ve been using it for local radar. Always seems better than “national” apps
Very informative 😃❤️🤙
I like to know when there is hurricanes
Super
Totally love this app!
Grew up in Tornado Alley, lived in Hurricane prone area for 20 years. I use the radar year round and from June to December, I’m checking the tropics daily. Best live radar app for sure.
Always correct. Never exaggerated. An be trusted always.
Accurate and timely
You do not update the storm information in a timely manner . You drag out the storms life and make it a name storm before it actually is a storm. I have to go back to my notes but twice this last hurricane season, you gave a system a name that was a storm less than 12 hours. Joe Sabino
I plan my day by Max Tracker. I live in Florida. The weather is always changing. Max Tracker is my favorite.
I can always depend on the accuracy and the details of Max Tracker
This is absolutely the best app! Vitally important for anyone who could be in the path of a storm. I highly recommend!!!
This app is always accurate. Thank you for keeping the public update!🙏
excellent app
Living in South Florida, hurricanes are always top-of-mind. Having a clear concise app to get current data is very welcome indeed. Max Mayfield is the absolute expert in hurricanes and I thank him for this app.
Very reliable
